Energy Shield Training for Empaths and Highly Sensitive People

Are you wondering why you need an energy shield?

Sensitive people feel everything. Often, that sensitivity is tied to empathy, intuition, or lived experience. Many of the people I work with are helpers, caretakers, parents, teachers, therapists, and leaders — people who naturally tune in to others. In fact, this has probably led them to these lines of work.

When you absorb the emotions, stress, anger, or fear of the people and environments around you, it can feel safer to withdraw — to stay home, avoid risk, or shut down parts of yourself just to cope.

But that’s not the answer.

The problem isn’t sensitivity itself. Sensitivity can be such a useful gift! The problem is carrying everything without limitations and protections.

You Don’t Have to Hide to Be Safe

Of course, when possible, it’s healthy to step away from truly harmful people or situations. But what about the times you can’t?

  • You live with someone difficult
  • You work with someone draining
  • Someone you love is just having a really bad day
  • You’re moving through crowded, chaotic spaces

In those moments, the question becomes:
Can you stay present without absorbing what isn’t yours?

The answer is yes.

That’s where energetic protection comes in.

What Is Energetic Shield Training?

Energetic Shield Training is a way to become energetically unavailable to what you don’t want to take in — without closing your heart to what you want, or losing your humanity.

In the video above, I guide you through a visualization I’ve practiced for years and taught to countless sensitive children, teens, and adults.

It’s called the Dome of Two-Way Mirrors.

Here’s the essence of it:

  • You imagine yourself inside a dome of glass
  • The outside is a mirror — anything negative reflects away
  • Inside the dome is white light, warmth, love, healing, and vitality
  • You can see out, give, connect, and engage
  • But what doesn’t belong to you never gets in

This isn’t about pretending the world is fine.
It’s about protecting your nervous system so you can respond instead of absorb.

The Missing Piece: Belief

Here’s the part that matters most.

You have to believe the shield works.

If your whole life you’ve taken on other people’s emotions automatically, this may feel like a completely new paradigm. But belief changes reality. If you believe you must absorb everything, you will. If you believe you can block what isn’t yours, you start to create a different experience.

The practice builds the shield.
The belief activates it.

The Energetic Eye Roll (Yes, Really)

There’s a second tool I teach in the video — one that works especially well in direct conversations with difficult people.

I call it the energetic eye roll.

You don’t do it outwardly (that would escalate things). You do it internally.

When someone says something that isn’t for you — a projection, a jab, a judgment, a belief you don’t want to carry — you energetically roll your eyes inside your mind.

That simple act creates a barrier.
The thought doesn’t land in you.
The belief doesn’t stick.
The energy falls away and neutralizes.

Why this matters: once you absorb something, it takes a lot of energy to release it. Shielding and the energetic eye roll stop the absorption before the cleanup is needed.

Sensitivity Is a Gift — Without the Burnout

Being empathic, intuitive, and sensitive can elevate your life, your relationships, and your purpose. But when clairsentience (feeling everything) runs unchecked, it drains your system.

The goal isn’t to stop feeling.
The goal is to shift empathy into clear knowing—getting the information about what’s happening without it overwhelming your body and energy.

That’s where calm, confidence, and grounded action come from.
