Stress is overwhelming. When you are stressed out it can effect so many things in your life. It’s seems more and more that the new normal to be stressed out.
But I wonder if that’s mandatory? Why do we have to suffer through stress when we can put things in our day to relieve it.
A few years ago, it effected me in a “gross” way and I can’t believe I shared it in today’s video. Definitely TMI. But I did it because I want you to know that you are not alone. We all get overwhelmed by stressful situations in our life.
This is my story and the two things that I learned to do when I am overwhelmed to get my mind, body and soul back on track.
I was taught these by my Narrative Therapy teacher, Michael White, and keeping them in mind has helped me whenever I am burnt out, feeling lonely or invalidated, overwhelmed, or just run down.

Getting away from it all is transformational in so many different ways. If you find yourself wishing that you can, that is your body saying that it wants to! Even if you can’t get away, you can always find an hour here or there for some me time, or ! Take it. Make it happen.
No matter your past, no matter your problems, you can take control of your healing journey.
